Fry Day Fish and Chips Pattaya
Fry Day Fish & Chips is a place I stumbled upon on a Christmas trip to Pattaya. Twice I called in for a fish supper, and on both occasions the fish and chips were delicious – the deep-fried battered fish heavenly. So good, I decided Fry Day deserved a dedicated post of its own.
Fry Day Fish and Chips Pattaya
Fry Day is opposite Soi 7 & 8 on Soi New Plaza which connects Second Road and Soi Buakhao. The street was a lively one – lots of bar units and counter bars. Soi New Plaza was bustling with people during my two-day Christmas stay in Pattaya but out-of-season I’d guess numbers would be milk-warm at best. During leaner times Fry Day’s fish bar would probably fare better than most businesses in the area because the food quality is first-rate and prices hard to beat.
You can view all the food options on the whiteboard menu photograph below.
There’s a wide range of typical fish and chip shop food on the menu, and the prices won’t skip your heartbeat. Cod and chips weigh in at 180 THB. Dory fish and chips 99 THB. I tried the latter, and the dory was excellent. Pies, burgers, sandwiches and main meals pad out an expansive menu: Eat-in or takeaway. Opening times: 2 pm – 2 am.
