Fuzzy Ken’s Now Opposite the City Centre Bus Station
I thought I’d give Fuzzy Ken’s a blow on my trumpet. Why?… because in my opinion, Fuzzy Ken’s Restaurant & Bar is one of the best places to eat and drink in Udon Thani city. That’s good reason enough.
Fuzzy Ken’s Restaurant & Bar
Fuzzy Ken’s new bar is opposite the city centre bus station – dead opposite the 7 -Eleven store to be precise. Ken moved from the old bar to the present location in April this year (2017). The bar’s new locale is good turf to be on. Central Plaza is a stone’s throw away. UD Town not too distant either and the area has a good pick of popular hotels. It’s also the perfect hangout for anyone with time to burn before a bus departure.
The new restaurant and bar is still dishing out Fuzzy Ken’s winning formula – good honest food and reasonably priced drinks served in a low-pressure atmosphere. Add-on a voluminous range of books, frozen foods, popular grocery supplies and the Fuzzy Ken blueprint is complete. Ken’s rationale is unmistakable ‘if it isn’t broke don’t fix it’.
Fuzzy Ken’s Restaurant & Bar Summary
If you are visiting Udon Thani and want moderately priced food and drink, Ken’s place would be a solid choice. Location wise it doesn’t get better. That’s assuming the city centre is part of your backyard. If so, your experience should be easy on the wallet with efficient, friendly service. Ken is good company too, a man readied with a treasure of local information and blessed with a wit drier than a prune laid idle on a desert floor.
Update – Fuzzy Ken’s has moved again. The new premises are on Soi Paradise near to the Paradise Hotel.
